It’s official: Fortis has received the Platinum Safety Award from ConstructSecure.
“Platinum status is not easily achieved. Fortis Construction has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to implementing safety management systems resulting in exceptionally low incident rates,” states Garrett Burke, CEO of ConstructSecure.
This award is presented to companies that register a safety score 95% or greater in the Safety Assessment Program administered by ConstructSecure. Congratulations to the Fortis Safety Team and everyone else who works tirelessly to keep our sites safe.

The Fortis Safety Committee has been honored with an Oregon Governor's Occupational Safety & Health (GOSH) Award. The award is given out every other year to only two companies. You can read the article below from the GOSH Conference booklet for more information.
The Oregon GOSH Conference has been held every other year since 1944. The conference focuses on providing an educational forum for employers, safety and health professionals, safety committee members, line supervisors, manufacturers, and distributors from all industries. GOSH both teaches and honors state of the art knowledge and skills leading to self-sufficiency in occupational safety and health programs.
