Over the course of a three-year partnership, Fortis Construction worked with the Corvallis School District and DLR Group to deliver more than $164 million and 441,600 square feet of K-12 school modernizations. This scope of work was spread across 9 separate schools, which included new construction, expansions, renovations, and seismic upgrades. Each of the efforts ranged broadly in scope and scale, with individual projects ranging from $4 million to more than $37 million. Overall, the bond-funded efforts focused on the modernization of teaching and learning spaces, improved accessibility, and sustainable features (such as solar panels and EV charging stations).

Due to the range of project, locations, and the unique needs of each school, Fortis’ preconstruction, scheduling and logistics efforts were key to opening each school in time for students to return for Fall classes.
