D+H is a leading financial technology provider with more than 5,500 employees and $1.5+ billion in annual revenue. The firm ranks in the top quarter of the Financial Technology 100 list and serves more than 8,000 clients across 70 countries—including 29 of the top-50 global banks. When it came time to build a new Portland office, D+H selected Fortis Construction. This $3.7M project was completed within the historic 1320 Broadway Building design by Pietro Belluschi – formerly known as The Oregonian newspaper’s headquarters. The new 39,000sf space provides a workplace suited for talent recruitment and retention in the tech market. The open-office spaces are complemented by a variety of collaborative and private spaces to create a range of environments for teams and private work. The extensive use of glass within the space creates divisions for conferencing and collaborative areas while still allowing daylight to penetrate deep within vast floorplates. A new stair connects the multi-floor office between the reception and the full-service kitchen. Environmental graphics throughout the office provide for a highly branded experience that also aides in wayfinding.
