Jaguar Land Rover Technology Center Wins Architizer A+Award

Great outcomes are the product of great partnerships and the Jaguar Land Rover Technology Center at Portland’s Redfox Commons is proof of that.

The project has been recognized with a 2026 Architizer A+Award in Sustainability for its inspired transformation of a historic industrial site into a cutting-edge technology center with LRS Architects, Inc. Working alongside the exceptional design team, Fortis Construction served as the general contractor, helping bring together three ambitious goals: adapting JLR’s global workplace standards to an existing Northwest structure, merging automotive precision with a human-centered office environment, and achieving LEED Gold certification.

The result is a facility that honors Portland’s industrial heritage while delivering world-class amenities that include double-height automotive workshop with vehicle bays and a VR suite, collaborative lounges, library nooks, and biophilic design elements throughout. The project’s commitment to sustainability, wellness, and adaptive reuse reflects values shared across the entire team.

We’re proud to have been part of a partnership that turned a bold vision into something truly worth celebrating.
