Oregon Department of Forestry, Oregon Headquarters

Developer MMDC selected Fortis to complete renovations of the Oregon Department of Forestry’s Headquarters Building located in Sandy, Oregon. This $6.2M, 48,000sf award was much in part to a successful MMDC-Fortis track record for public-sector clients including the Oregon Department of Human Services and Oregon State Police. Fortis also collaborated with CIDA Architecture to deliver on seismic upgrades that brought this three-story, wood-framed building up to code. Also, the expansion – completed while the building remained occupied – provided an additional 7,000sf of workspace that allowed for increased efficiencies within the building as well as Department of Forestry consolidation.
