Fortis led the construction efforts to provide new turf at both Prothro Field and Reser Stadium. At Prothro, the existing natural grass was replaced with 160,000sf of synthetic “Field Turf” for the University’s football practice field. Prothro was also fitted with new light poles, new goal posts, new nets, and a new drainage system. At Reser Stadium, Fortis replaced the outdated synthetic turf with a newer and much higher quality Field Turf. Both projects were time-sensitive: Prothro upgrades were completed ahead of Fall practice and Reser upgrades were complete ahead of the Beavers’ first home game of the season.
