This 13,000sf renovation turned an existing office space into a state-of-the-art food service destination for more than 1,500 employees. The $4.8 million full-service cafeteria and restaurant is complemented by a range of open-seating areas for both dining and informal collaborations. The complex buildout of this space included not only extensive signage, graphics and other custom-designed details, but also the infrastructure to support new, complex restaurant MEP systems within the shell of a dated office building. Also, client needs drove a schedule that required the renovation to be completed in just four months. Value engineering efforts aided in ensuring that the project could be completed in the compressed timeframe while successfully creating $300,000 in savings for the client.
