Confidential Client, Multi-Building Campus Renovation

For a high-tech and high-design client, Fortis completed this $15 million renovation in eight months. The overhaul of multiple buildings on the active campus provides new office space that aligns with corporate standards; creates a new innovation lab for R&D, product testing and marketing development; establishes a new café for the west campus; and provides new collaborative spaces for various user groups. While the project entailed two separate buildings, Fortis developed a management plan that allowed all work to be done in parallel and be overseen by the same project manager. The parallel schedules allowed for cost and schedule efficiencies, while the consistency in project management ensured quality control and continuity for two separate teams working in parallel on the detached -yet-similar buildings.
