Cruzan, make – PDX at Slabtown

Fortis delivered this $9.2M, 118,000sf core-and-shell renovation of an existing four-story Slabtown office building for real estate investment firm Cruzan. With the interior effort, Fortis constructed a 10,000sf fitness area in the building’s basement complete with locker rooms, bicycle storage, and amenity spaces. The project also included renovations to the building’s ground-floor lobby, along with restrooms on floors 1-4. Additionally, the building’s fire sprinkler system was upgraded to meet current code, including a new fire alarm panel and smoke detection and alarms. Exterior improvements included the installation of a new front-entry curtainwall system, existing hardscape and landscape renovation, upgraded site lighting, and the installation of new site amenities. Repainting and recaulking of the exterior façade plus replacing existing glazing with new clear-vision glass was also included in the project scope.
