When it was time to build out the entire 15,000sf top floor of Portland’s Standard Insurance Center to serve as the new headquarters for Lindsay Hart LLP, The Standard turned to Fortis Construction. The selection was due in large part to Fortis’ previous work within the building, where the team had established its reputation for reliability, ability to match the owner’s need for speed, and always going the extra mile with logistics and communication across many stakeholders.

The Lindsay Hart Headquarters on the 27th floor includes private offices, a large kitchen and breakroom, a range of conference rooms, reception area, elevator lobby, upgraded HVAC and MEP systems, and premium finishes throughout. With tenants occupying the floor below, Fortis took proactive steps to minimize disruption by scheduling noisy work and deliveries during off-hours and weekends.

To meet a condensed five-month timeline, Fortis developed a strategic phasing plan that streamlined trade-partner handoffs across zones. This approach resulted in a headquarters delivered two weeks ahead of schedule, reinforcing our commitment to delivering high-quality work on budget and on (or ahead of) schedule.
