Over the course of three years, Fortis completed several renovations of the OSU Valley Football Center. Fortis first renovated the weightlifting facility into a Players Lounge with seated viewing areas; recreational spaces for pool, foosball, and air hockey; and individual meeting rooms. The space is equipped with an audio/visual system that provides multiple TVs throughout the open space and audio capabilities for special events. The following year, Fortis built a Trophy Room that includes a large graphic display to showcase memorabilia for fans and recruits. The space features a tile-floor system that mimics a football field with yard markers and a sophisticated lighting system to accentuate the hardware in the room. Then, Fortis returned for a third-consecutive year to complete an interior renovation of the athletic training room, which also included three new hydro-pools (one with an integral treadmill). Improvements were also made to the training room offices, exam rooms and medical storage rooms. Due to the Valley Football Center’s connection to Reser Stadium, much of the work was performed off-hours and on weekends in order to meet Athletics-driven schedules and needs while minimizing disruptions on campus and within facilities.
