Fortis has worked with WHA across numerous locations in the Portland area, and thanks to this long-term relationship was trusted with the prototype Midwifery Birth Center. The $2.3M, 9,100sf project is an award-winning conversion of a Mexican restaurant into a welcoming birthing center with a range of home-like delivery rooms connected with a women’s health clinic.
