Fortis’ $3.6M buildout of the CommonGrounds Portland location created a next-generation, shared workplace with flexible, scalable and modern environments. The project encompasses 17,075sf over the ground floor and mezzanine level with reception, open-office workstations, private and shared offices, conference rooms, a break room with a pantry, and a lounge. Up to 150 members can be accommodated by the space, where they have 24/7 access to a desk, high-tech and sound-proof conference rooms and phone booths, and commons spaces for collaboration and exposure to other businesses and ideas. Amenities within the workplace include standup desks; dual-pane, modular offices; keyless exterior and interior door entry; and fiber internet.
