Moda Tower, Lobby Renovation

The Moda Tower Lobby project for Unico Properties provides updates to the office building lobby, common areas and building façade and features numerous specialty fixtures and high-end architectural finishes to bring the 3,200sf space to life. Designed by Ankrom Moisan Architecture, the $2.4M overhaul modernizes the building’s entry along SW 2nd Avenue. Prior to construction, the building frontage drew attention with a complex brass-encapsulated tree, known as “Ya-Wa.” The scene has since been renewed with a towering 30’ glulam curtain-wall system, which features a new modern art installation. The Fortis team and trade partners coordinated across night and day shifts to not only complete the project within budget, but also target project completion two weeks ahead of the contract schedule. Due to the success of this project and a strengthened relationship with the owner, Unico Properties, Fortis was subsequently awarded additional projects within the Moda Tower.
