Trillium Family Services is a private, non-profit organization and Oregon’s largest provider of mental and behavioral healthcare for children. The organization selected Fortis as the CM/GC partner for its 13,000sf, $5.5M Secure Adolescent In-patient Program (SAIP) facility. Over the past two decades, the needs of Trillium’s clients have changed to include more acute cases, more dual diagnoses and the need for more flexibility of services and additional secure facilities. This new SAIP project allows Trillium to leap into the next generation of care, therapeutic dignity and facility support by serving Trillium’s most acute patients through providing residential space and housing treatment, education and healing programs. The SAIP facility is Phase I of Trillium’s master plan vision of a consolidated campus, and it replaces an existing, outdated and isolated facility.
