Trillium Family Services is a private, non-profit organization and Oregon’s largest provider of mental and behavioral healthcare for children. The organization’s Psychiatric Residential Treatment Services Program offers psychiatric services for children and adolescents who need 24-hour support for emotional and behavioral challenges.

Fortis is serving as the CM/GC for Trillium’s new Parry Center: a 16,000sf Secure Adolescent In-Patient (SAIP) behavioral health facility. The two-story building will provide 12 bedrooms, exam and occupational therapy rooms, and an indoor-play area. Leveraging best practices and lessons learned from previous projects with Trillium, Fortis is working closely with project partners Klosh Group and TVA Architects to streamline the schedule and maximize value without compromising security, durability, or safety.

The Parry Center is located on Trillium’s existing Portland campus. To minimize disruptions and mitigate safety risks to staff, visitors and patients, Fortis is following stringent safety procedures that address vehicle access, secure separation of construction and staging zones, and secure tool-and-materials management (including double containment systems).
