As the CM/GC partner for OSU, Fortis completed the $16M renovation and expansion of Magruder Hall—home to the College of Veterinary Medicine. Key components of the project included new clinic space and new oncology unit expansions for the Small Animal Veterinary Teaching Hospital, a new lecture hall, faculty office space and teaching labs within the Magruder Hall instructional space renovation, and a new building to house a linear accelerator. The new Magruder Hall addition and renovation of 21,599sf enables increased revenue, services, and educational experiences for students (including increasing overall class size by 22%); incorporated a new linear accelerator and equine, large-scale MRI; provided new laboratories for anatomy and surgery; and expands clinical-trial space.
