The Oregon State Police Forensic Laboratory in Pendleton creates a technical facility from a single level, pre-engineered metal building (PEMB). Fortis delivered the ground-up, 10,500sf structure complete with an HVAC system capable of maintaining a sterile environment within the facility’s many laboratory spaces – including Latent Print Chemical, Latent Print Imaging, Latent Print Powder, Microscope, Ballistics, Screening, Chemical, and Instrument Laboratories. In addition to lab space, the facility provides workplace environments, secure storage, vehicle bay, and reception/lobby space for the Forensics Team. Fortis Construction collaborated with Pacific Building Systems to deliver this project on-time and on-budget.
