Fortis is working as CM/GC alongside architects Mahlum and Robertson Sherwood to deliver the $26M Health Professions Building for Lane Community College. The new three-story, ground-up building will house the Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant and Emergency Medical Services programs. Complementing these programs, the project includes a dental hygiene clinic, EMT training facility, ambulance bay, classrooms, administrative space, and a 100+ seat classroom for lectures and community events.

As the first major project under LCC’s 2020 Master Plan, the Health Professions Building brings the LCC Dental Clinic back to the main campus. The completed building will foster a sense of community by enhancing the circulation and connection to the center of campus. Site improvements include a new pedestrian bridge and plazas that connect Bristow Square with the athletic fields.

The Health Professions Building is targeting LEED-Silver certification.
