Fortis served as CM/GC for this $31 million upgrade and expansion to build a new, freestanding MOB; renovate the existing MOB I; expand the existing hospital; and complete all associated site work. Lean construction processes and MEP design-build delivery were utilized to complete the various scopes of work. The new MOB II provides 66,000sf over three stories of Class A medical office space and includes and new Cancer Center, primary care, and rehab. The existing MOB I remodel included remodeling two floors to provide Outpatient Surgery and a respiratory therapy clinic, wound clinic, neurology clinic, orthopedics clinic, ENT clinic, surgery suite and shared space. The expansion of the existing hospital enhances inpatient diagnostic imaging with a new MRI and new CT scanner. Fortis will also complete the new surface parking, landscaping and street improvements.
