Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Fortis’ major renovation of the Pearl District’s 61,000sf Ballou & Wright building—now known as 1010 Flanders—brought new life to the core and shell elements, including historic window replacements and a seismic upgrade. For the developers to attract new clientele, the building renovation provides a new elevator and main-building lobby with Class-A finishes; a new 2,000sf roof deck; and a range of amenity spaces including bike storage, locker rooms and bathroom cores on all floors.
