Following more than 30 successful projects on the active campus, the University of Oregon engaged Fortis to provide CM/GC services for the demolition of Hamilton and Walton Residence Halls and subsequent large-scale residence hall rebuild. The $176M project entailed extensive collaboration with lead architect Mithun and local architect Rowell Brokaw in order to make possible the 500,000-square-feet of residence halls with 1,800 beds, study/lounge/academic/learning amenity space, food service and dining areas, and a visitor center.
