Following more than 30 successful projects on the active campus, the University of Oregon engaged Fortis to provide CM/GC services for the demolition of Hamilton and Walton Residence Halls and subsequent large-scale residence hall rebuild. The $176M project entailed extensive collaboration with lead architect Mithun and local architect Rowell Brokaw in order to make possible the 500,000-square-feet of residence halls with 1,800 beds, study/lounge/academic/learning amenity space, food service and dining areas, and a visitor center.
"A large part of this project's success is due to the trusting relationships that we have built with the UO, architects and subcontractors. It's been an exciting team effort."
